Since the day I first heard it, I have loved this tune

Finlandia Hymn ~

This is my song, Oh God of all the nations,
A song of peace for lands afar and mine.
This is my home, the country where my heart is;
Here are my hopes, my dreams, my sacred shrine.
But other hearts in other lands are beating,
With hopes and dreams as true and high as mine.

My country's skies are bluer than the ocean,
And sunlight beams on cloverleaf and pine.
But other lands have sunlight too and clover,
And skies are everywhere as blue as mine.
Oh hear my song, oh God of all the nations,
A song of peace for their land and for mine.

Be Still, My Soul (words by Katharina von Schlegel, translated by Jane Borthwick) ~

Be still, my soul, the Lord is on your side;
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.
Leave to your God to order and provide;
In every change He, faithful, will remain.
Be still, my soul, your best, your heavenly friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Raggedy Ann's Halloween at the hospital

My first sutures! I was pretty darn excited.

I was so disappointed that I was one of a handful of people who dressed up, but I didn't let that phase me. No siree.
