Zion, perfect in beauty
I am exhausted of the shallow.
I long for beauty and strength
I long for beauty and strength
Even the sparrow has found a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young
- a place near your alter, O Lord Almighty,
my King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
they are ever praising you.
Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.
As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.
Hear my prayer, O Lord God Almighty;
listen to me, O God of Jacob.
...better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere...
psalm 84:3-8, 10a NIV

Darling, you sound a bit contemplative! I have also. I've specifically been meditating on the necessity of consistency in Bible study. I've been having some conversations with some friends who are atheists, and there's nothing better than having to explain yourself to get you to think about it more. It's uplifting, and at the same time sad -- you feel stronger in what you believe, but a bit downcast over their responses. I'm just thankful that it's not my job to convince them, but the Holy Spirit.

My, I think blogging may be affecting my writing -- I mean 'Holy Spirit's,' of course.
Ta!
