Two more weeks of class, three finals and then...blessed graduation!Hallelujah! (it also means I will lift the self-imposed "fun ban" I've placed on myself...)
Aislinn and I are going to have a rockin' party in celebration of the momentus occasion. I hope it's nice and hot. I've been looking forward to my first-summer-in-two-years with great expectation.
that's what I say! I haven't gotten burned yet, though, and after the presentation on skin cancer in my Epidemiology class, I hope I never burn again. Mysteriously, I seem to be pretty temperature sensitive. Could I truly have acclimated to year-round chilly weather? My heat tolerance is ridiculously low.
today it rained, the mighty leith was bursting it's banks, and roads were closed, and some people in mollywood (aka mosgiel) were evacuated from thier homes. oh, for summer to come back again. my fingers are cold.
I must say that photo looks awefully familiar, brings back fond memories of mince and late night glowworm quests. back to my self imposed late night literature reviewing.
Some of my thinking while in warm and sunny Dunedin, New Zealand (14 Feb - 2 Dec 2005) and upon my return to The States.
'I is not galloping to any human bean country,' the BFG said. 'I is going to other places.'

Mmmm, the warm sun beating down ...
I have a sunburn. From Saturday, I think.
Bring on the sunshine!
